TPP Hosting's great. I used to use Wizardhost but the owner said that he had to close due to personal commitments or something.

Probably that it wasn't making a profit to be honest.

It would probably be a good idea to post plans, with cost, space, bandwidth etc. It would be also good to post what comes with the host, like Cpanel10 or Fantastico, or MySQL databases.

And if they are posted I haven't been able to find them anywhere.

No but I mean in a list, where it is easy to skim down the list to find the things you need, compare hosts etc. I've been looking for a host for the past few weeks, and I find it easier when aspects are listed.

Most host do something like (much more descriptive, becuase just saying that you have 25 megs, no SQL, and PHP is very very vague);

---------------------------------
Hosting Plan 1
---------------------------------

Quota: 512MB
Bandwith: 10 GB
Domains: Unlimited
Pop3 Accounts: Unlimited
Webmail: Yes
FrontPage Support Yes
CGI / Perl / PHP / SSL Yes
Fantastico Yes
Ads  No
Uptime 99.8%
Platform RedHat Enterprise
cPanel 10 Yes
Posts Required: 20
Weekly Post Requirement: 2 / Monthly Post Requirement: 8
Cost  $0.00
Set up fees - $0.00

This kind of a list with many plans is much more appealing than just saying, "you have a basic account 25 megs, PHP, no SQL, have fun".

Some hosts go even further by giving server specifications.

This is the link to our payed service.

http://thepotterpoli...aidhosting.html

It has all this info.

The free hosting is for the members of this board, and very limited. If a member wants info we will provide it. The free hosting is for the convenience of the members. If they need more than what we provide for free, we recommend other free services. They also can use our payed hosting account.

Kyle, postcount doesn't really matter here, you know :p . Though it's more fun for you if you post, we wouldn't require anything. Just remember that are services are 100% free, with no strings attatched. I guess we'll just have to wait for Dumbledore to answer your question, but I just wanted to remind you of that ^_^ .

Personally I detest the hosts where they require you to post so many times a week to qualify for your hosting account, it's pointless... If you're going to provide free hosting do it, don't mess people around :p

Oh, and I'm thinking about getting a dedicated IP address just to try it out etc., when I noticed that it's almost half price on TPP Hosting than at GoDaddy homepage :D .

Yeah, you're right, it is fun posting here. And I forgot about the no strings attached. That just makes this place better :p

I get the accounts at a cut rate, and I have little or no markup on the accounts. I may make 50 cents on each account.
