Ok, I am totally clueless. I have created an HP News/Info website, and I have no idea how to install CuteNews onto my website. I use Awardspace as my host, but I still am clueless. I tried reading the CuteNews tutorial things in the forums, but it did not help. Can anyone save me from my cluelessness?

Here's something I think you should have a long think about:
If you aren't technical minded enough to follow the instructions to install something like Cutenews, which is relatively simple, maybe you aren't cut out to be running a website... Just my personal opinion
The best way to learn how to do stuff like this is to have a go at installing it, if it doesn't work then try again til you get it right. When you get it right it'll give you a massive confidence boost and you'll be able to tackle harder scripts and softwares.
Here's the instructions with my comments added:
1) Create a directory on your server ( e.g. cutenews ) *just create a folder on your server called cutenews or news*
2) Upload the content of the cutenews.1.4.5.zip to the directory you created in step 1 *upload all the files from the zip to the folder you just created*
3) Now You must CHMOD the the directory cutenews/data/ and all files and
folders under the data/ directory must be also chmod'ed to 777. *right click on the files/folders it's asking you to CHMOD and do so accordingly*
4) Finally, go to http://yoursite.com/cutenews/index.php with you favorite browser and follow the instructions. *Does what it says on the tin*
Then to add it to the site open up your layout html or PHP file and add in the piece of code in the instructions accordingly, some will show more news etc than others.
Feel free to ask any other questions
