I have got a new layout for my site but it appears to be slightly out of line in the banner.http://www.totalinferno.com/grimmain.php
I know this happens in Mozzila and opera but i am not sure abour IE.
also in IE the colour of the grey background in the news section is a different colour the the part that curves round above it.
Any one know how to fix this?

Can you post the coding that you have for the layout? That would help to figure out the problem. :)

If no one has looked at this and solved it by the time i get back from where i'm going, i'll give it a good look and see if i can figure it out for you.

I took a quick glance at it all, and i do suggest that you look into using CSS to define things instead of doing it in-table

See the red number? That image is only 137px wide, so this is stretching the 		further than it needs to be. Change the red number to 137. Then everything should be ok as far as I can tell. You would of course have to include the full code, but I only quoted some surrounding lines. :)

As for the colour issue. It looks to me as though this image Background with Voldy has a different shade of grey as this one Part of Text. So whoever designed them may have mixed up the colours. There isn't any hex or rgb codes in the coding, so it's an image colour problem. You would just have to edit either of those images and it should be fine. :)

as for the colouring its the same i have just checked. both images are the same colour off the layoutout in psp and in frontpage but not online.

The reason the colors are different is because the image with Voldemort is a .png image and the other is a .jpg.  PNG's appear differently in some browsers, therefore the colors won't match.

i just thought i would add on to Theresa's the reason why it is happening and it's because IE has issues reading transparency's and PNG Gamma (that's how i learned to say it lol)
