I was very impressed with the content of the second movie but I think it would have had a better dramatic effect if it had been only one move. This is a movie that I would have taken the time to sit thought all.

I loved the 2nd movie. Only just saw it (had to wait until it wasn't as popular. I hate crowded screens) - I agree, wish they had just made 1 film, because it was a bit jarring being thrown straight into it again in the 2nd part. I, for one, didn't remember where we were up to, having not re-watched the 1st part. So I was lost.

I do feel they missed out a lot of important stuff, and changed things for no reason, but I loved *Spoiler*

the part where they improvised and showed neville blowing up the bridge and running for it. It was a nice way to develop his characters bravery quickly without having to delve too deeply into his back story.

The rest of the movie was well done and I did tear up at some parts... obviously. Overall I enjoyed it, but I watched it with my boyfriend who hasn't read the books and he had no idea what happened and why anything happened, which really does go to show, they were lazy with the story and relied on people already knowing why certain people did what they did.... does that make sense?

That's true. I watched with my nephew, who refused to read the books, but he enjoyed it.At the end he did question me on the differences.
